After school science program focusing on bees!

submitted by Quintessa Gallinat, Manchester District Library
On the back lawn of the City Building, the Manchester District Library will host Janet from Tucker Farms for After School Science: All About Bees on Friday, September 20, 2024. Learn about pollinators, honeybees, and the beekeeper who cares for them. Get to know why they are so important and how we can all help to protect them. As long as the weather is safe for the honeybees to be transported, Janet will also bring an observation hive so participants can see the honeybees at work. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Village Room. Recommended for ages 5–11; all ages are welcome.
