Hi, folks, giving a head’s up — if you want a special kind of concert, come over to the Manchester Blacksmith Shop on Friday night, November 15. The concert begins at 7:30pm.

The musicians in the Harp Department at Michigan State University are presenting a unique showcase of music on the harp! This should be interesting, and from what we hear, there will be dozens of harpists, harp students, and faculty putting together a unique experience. This is part of Harp Day at MSU, which continues on Saturday, the 16, in East Lansing.

You can get tickets to the Blacksmith Shop event on Eventbrite or just pay at the door. There is always plenty of seating, and the musicians who play there, unamplified, seem to love the acoustics and the setting … the forge … the tools ... It is a working museum! Don’t miss this one.

At the four corners of Manchester, the Blacksmith shop is just a few doors to the east on Main Street. You can park right there on the street. We would love to see you there!
