The Lady Dutch Defeated the Grass Lake Warriors in the D3 District Final Friday, November 8, in five sets: 25-23, 16-25, 22-25, 25-20, 15-13. Senior Savanah Flint had 1 ace, 24 kills, 1 block, 4 assists, 20 digs. Junior Olivia Woods had 2 aces, 5 blocks, 37 assists, and 25 digs. Sophomore Ava Rentfro had 2 aces, 7 kills, 1 block, 2 assists, and 27 digs. Sophomore Karsyn Klein had 1 ace, 7 kills, 8 blocks, and 6 digs. Senior Sammy Rentfro had 1 kill, 3 blocks, 1 assist, and 19 digs. Junior Avary DuRussel had 3 aces, 6 kills, 2 blocks, and 4 digs. Junior Abbi Austin had 1 kill and 19 digs.

Coach Jason Flint stated, “The team did an amazing job fighting back after we went down two sets to one. The girls really rallied around each other and carried each other to a victory. I am so proud of our team and all they have accomplished so far this season. But we aren’t finished yet. We will meet Hanover Horton on Tuesday, November 12, at 7pm, at Jackson Lumen Christi for the regional semifinal. Go, Lady Dutch!”
