He was born on April 5, 1974, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Edwin and Judith (Kirk) Walz. Patrick married the love of his life, Amanda Reviere, on July 5, 1997, in Adrian, Michigan. They had 27 blessed years together. He was in the graduating class of 1992 from Manchester High School. Patrick worked at Ford Motor Company as a transmission technician until his recent retirement. He also worked on the family farm, crops being their specialty. Patrick loved being out in the community where he was a part of
the Mason 148 Lodge in Manchester, Michigan Farm Bureau, the Manchester Tractor Club, 4-H Fairs, and the Manchester Swine Club, where he was an advisor.

He loved spending time with his children, especially attending farm shows, horse shows, skiing, and riding his Harley-Davidson. Patrick was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church. He loved going to the U.P. to partake in Jeep activities. He also drove his tractor across the Mackinac Bridge at the annual Mackinac Bridge Antique Tractor crossing with his family and friends. He also frequently donated blood for the American Red Cross.

Patrick was working on his welding certification, which he would receive in December. He was a very generous person, who always thought of others first and was willing to lend a hand. Patrick will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Amanda; his children, Justin Walz and Claudia Walz; his mother, Judy Walz; his brother, Mark (Tracie) Walz; his sister, Laurie (Greg) Sanders; his nephew, Garett (Hannah) Sanders; his mother-in-law, Cynthia Kojima; and special friends Stephen Haeussler and Ryan Shankland.
