The employees of Teijin Automotive recently came together to support the local community by hosting a highly successful food drive, collecting a total of 535.5 pounds of essential items for the Community Resource Center (CRC).

The drive, coordinated by Teijin Automotive HR Manager Karen Bunney, resulted in 351.1 pounds of food and 184.4 pounds of non-food items, such as personal care, cleaning, and paper products.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and compassion shown by the employees of Teijin Automotive,” said Carol Wotring, Executive Director of the Community Resource Center. “These much-needed supplies will make a tremendous difference in supporting the families and individuals we serve. The Teijin team has truly set an inspiring example of community engagement and support.”

The CRC provides essential resources and assistance to local families facing economic hardship. The donated items from Teijin Automotive will help stock the CRC’s food pantry and personal care closet, ensuring access to necessities.
