The Manchester District Library would like to extend a big thank you to the Manchester community and all of our health fair participants for joining us at the Manchester Community Health Fair of 2025.

On Saturday, January 25, the Village Room under the Manchester District Library turned into a one-stop shop for all those looking to improve their health for a fresh and healthy 2025.

Dr. Nia Aguirre, ND, kicked off the Manchester Community Health Fair with a natural health class in the Council Chambers at 10am. Directly after Dr. Nia’s class, Jazzercize hosted a demo class with several participants at 11am in the Council Chambers.

Health fair booths were open to the public from 11am to 1pm in the Village Room. We had so many wonderful organizations right here in Manchester that shared what they can offer to help Manchester feel healthy and alive in 2025. Our vendors included: Jazzercize, TOPS, Community Garden, Manchester Wellness Coalition, SRSLY Manchester, Dr. Nia Aguirre, ND, DoTerra Essential Oils, The WAVE Bus, the Manchester Lions Club, Our Family Friend LLC home care, and the Manchester Farmers Market.

Many patrons took advantage of the free eye screenings provided by the Manchester Lions Club. Barry Allen used a $10,000 SPOT camera, and the results were impressively instantaneous.

The Manchester Community Health Fair Raffle gave away a “Reflexology: Foot or Hand” (value $45–$65), an Our Family Friend sweatshirt basket with other cozy items, a Real Life book that presents all about how to eat healthily, a Better Homes and Gardens Healthy Eating cookbook, personal journey book, bag with pocket for water bottle and more, small lunch bag with matching pot holder and large kozy and My Plate plate, $20 gift certificate for The WAVE Bus, Jazzercise “goodies” (shirts, etc.), $10 DoTerra gift certificate, and a Zumba Gold weight set!

Due to a unanimous request from our participants, we are deciding to make the Manchester Community Health Fair a yearly event. Save the date for next year’s Manchester Community Health Fair on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Please contact lwohlgemuth@manchesterlibrary.info if you would like to participate in next year’s Health Fair.
