Designs needed for canoe and kayak race T-shirt

The 59th Annual River Raisin Canoe and Kayak Race is just around the corner on May 18 this year. Organizers have launched a design contest for this year’s race T-shirt design. The winner will receive a free T-shirt and a $50 gift certificate to the local business of their choice. The design should reflect the community of Manchester and the River Raisin. It must be black and white, with thick, black clean lines as fine details will get lost. It can’t contain shading and should be no smaller than an 8.5” x 11” sheet of paper.

Submissions are due by April 30 and can be emailed to firstrtm@gmail.com or handed in at the River Raisin Mercantile or Steele Grafix. If you are a student, you can submit your design to your art teacher.
