Riverside Students enjoy a night at the Escape Rooms!

On Friday, April 4, the Riverside Title 1 Team hosted a Family Engagement Night. All Riverside Intermediate School families were invited to attend a night of Escape Rooms. One room was dressed up for twisted fairy tales as the families tried to escape from fairy tale witches by solving language arts puzzles. The second room was decorated with an outer space theme and families were challenged to escape from an alien abduction by solving math problems. The families had an hour to work together to solve the different puzzles and challenges. The evening ended with smiles from family members of all ages and a promise to bring the event back again next year and make it even bigger!

Title 1 is a federally funded program that supports student growth in language arts and mathematics.
