Manchester Community Schools announced on Friday that they have selected seven candidates for first-round interviews as part of their superintendent search. They will be holding interviews during the first half of this week.

Today, Monday, May 12, John Strycker, Matt McCullough, and Steven Head will be interviewed. Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 13, Stephen Keskes and Sean Wightman will be interviewed. And on Wednesday, May 14, Aaron Shinn and Julie Kaminski will be interviewed. Interviews will be held in the Manchester Jr/Sr High School Media Center. The public is encouraged to attend and there will be an opportunity to fill out a feedback form after each interview, which will be shared with the board. Interviews will begin each day at 5pm with 10-minute breaks in between.

On May 15, the school board will hold a special meeting at 5pm to determine the finalists. This meeting is open to the public. The finalists will have an opportunity to meet with stakeholder groups before the final interviews, which will be held May 19–21, with dates to be determined after finalists are selected.

School board president Sandra Witalia states, “We look forward to working with this group of talented professionals and our Manchester Community Schools family to determine our best-fit candidate for our next superintendent!”
