Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Manchester Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Manchester Township Hall, located at 275 S. Macomb Street, Manchester, MI 48158. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments on the following variance petition:

ADDTL ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT (CARETAKER HOUSING): The applicant is requesting a variance to allow two (2) accessory dwelling units for caretaker use on a property located at 15100 W. Austin Road (PID: 16-07-200-002), in the AR (Rural Agricultural) Zoning District.

Per Article 5, Section 5.02(CC), one (1) accessory dwelling unit is permitted in this district. A second unit requires a variance from the Zoning Ordinance.

PUBLIC INSPECTION: A copy of the proposed petition is available for public inspection at the Manchester Township offices during normal business hours.
