The Manchester Community Schools (MCS) Board of Education announced on Friday that they have officially approved Steve Head’s employment contract, making him MCS’s new superintendent.

School board president Sandra Wiitala thanked those who participated in the search, stating, “We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the MANY students, staff, and community members who took part in input sessions and surveys to help develop our candidate profile, attended interviews and meet and greets, filled out a multitude of feedback forms, and provided invaluable input during the process. Your involvement since last March is deeply appreciated! We could not have done this without you!”
