Dance With Heart Studios dancers from both our Manchester and Adrian locations traveled to Orlando, Fla., this week to compete at Dance Masters of America Nationals at Disney World. All seven students are members of the DWHS Competition team and will be competing their solos, duets, and trios from this past competitive season.

DMA is the oldest educational dance organization in the country and provides a magnitude of opportunities for growth, learning, and life lessons, as well as standards in dance education. DMA also offers continuing education classes for dance teachers.

Ethan, who is currently Teen Mr. Dance of Michigan and competed at a regional level in January at Dance Masters of Michigan’s Solo Title Event, will be competing for the national title while in Orlando. Solo Title is an educational experience and scholarship competition in which competitors participate in dance auditions, professional interviews, and a solo performance.

Solo Title participants gain stronger interview and audition skills, an increased knowledge base from world-renowned teachers, stronger work ethic, connections with current dancers as well as future colleagues, and lessons in humility, kindness, determination, and commitment.
