On Saturday, June 21, 2025, seven artists from the Great Lakes Plein Air Painters Association (GLPAPA) gathered to paint along the banks of the River Raisin Park in the scenic city of Manchester. GLPAPA is a statewide organization of plein air artists that hosts painting meets throughout Michigan. “Plein air” is a French expression meaning “in the open air.”
