Roadwork continues in Freedom & Manchester townships

The Washtenaw County Road Commission will be performing roadwork in Freedom and Manchester townships this week.

In Freedom Township, Ernst Rd between Bethel Church Rd and Reno Rd will have daytime road closures through July 18 (extended) for a culvert replacement; and Waters Rd between Parker and Haab Rd will have daytime road closures from July 17 through July 21 for limestone resurfacing. In addition, primary and local soft-surface roads will continue to have intermittent lane restrictions for dust control through July 18 (extended).

In Manchester Township, Schleweis Rd between Bowens Rd and Boetger Rd will have daytime road closures through July 16 for limestone resurfacing; and Lemm Rd between Fahey Rd and Schleweis Rd will have daytime road closures through July 18 (extended) for a culvert replacement.

All schedules are subject to change due to weather or other circumstances.
