Last October, the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution (SAR and DAR) came to Manchester and honored American Revolutionary War veteran Dr. Eleazer Root at Oak Grove Cemetery. This coming October, they will be returning and performing a marker dedication at Bridgewater Center Cemetery for Ebenezer Annable (alternately spelled Annibil), also an American Revolutionary Patriot. Mark your calendar for October 11, 2025, at 11am at Bridgewater Center Cemetery, 10990 Clinton Rd. Multiple Manchester community members will be participating. Descendants of Annable and community members are encouraged to attend. Organizers explained that these marker dedications are in honor of the 250th anniversary of our country.

This event is being organized by the Ypsilanti Chapter, Huron Valley Chapter, and Sarah Caswell Angell Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. For more information on this event, visit: ypsilanti.michdar.net, sca-dar.org or hvcmissar.wordpress.com.
