Manchester District Library (MDL) invites the community to join them in supporting the Manchester Community Resource Center (CRC) and Manchester Community Schools’ (MCS) Weekend Kids’ Meals program. The goal of this program is to offer nutritious meals and snacks to children free of charge for the weekends when school breakfasts and lunches are not available. Children who qualify for free or reduced school meals and attend Klager Elementary School or Riverside Intermediate School are eligible. MDL will accept donations on behalf of this program for the duration of the summer to help stock CRC shelves with needed items.

All contributions are welcome; however, items of particular need are listed below. Donated goods should be unopened, in their original packaging with labels, in good condition, and within six months of the sell-by date if applicable. Generic/store brands are preferred; no glass containers.

WEEKEND KIDS’ MEALS SHOPPING LIST
