Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation (WCPARC) states, “The River Raisin is spectacular on its own, but summer blooms and diverse habitats make wandering Leonard Preserve a true delight.” Join WCPARC on Tuesday, August 12, from 8:30am to 10am, at the Leonard Preserve (parking lot located at 375 N Union St) with naturalist Elle Bogle for a morning exploration of the many ecosystems while taking in the late-summer beauty. Pre-registration required. Register at parksonline.ewashtenaw.org, click on “841009 Summer Adult Nature Hikes” and select “Sunrise Nature Hike (at Leonard Preserve)”. There is no fee to participate. Email boglee@washtenaw.org with questions.
