WCRC to close Steinbach Rd and Bemis Rd in Freedom Twp for culvert replacements

On Monday, August 4, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Steinbach Rd between Bethel Church Rd and Weber Rd in Freedom Township during daytime hours for a crossroad culvert replacement. The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions. All residents who live and work within the closure area will have access during the closure.

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Bemis Rd between Schneider Rd and Ernst Rd in Freedom Township for a culvert replacement. The road improvements are expected to take approximately two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions. Access will be maintained for any residents who work or live within the closure limits.
