Alber Orchard holding yoga and puppies fundraiser for the Jackson County Animal Shelter

Alber Orchard & Cider Mill is partnering with Jackson County Animal Shelter and Zion Well Yoga Studio on Yoga in the Orchard: Paws, Poses & Peace, a fundraiser for the animal shelter. The orchard states, “Get ready to downward dog with some adorable puppies while supporting a great cause. This event is the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, and cuddle with furry friends.”

The fundraiser on August 30 will include 45 minutes of all-level flow yoga, then 30 minutes of playtime with the puppies. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased on eventbrite or by phone at 734-428-9310. Welcome and registration are at 9:45am with yoga starting at 10am. Bring your own mat. Yoga will be outdoors surrounded by the apple trees unless weather does not allow it, in which case it will be moved indoors. All participants must sign a waiver before joining the session. Minimum age for participation is 10 years old. Alber Orchard is located at 13011 Bethel Church Rd in Freedom Township.
