Roadwork in Freedom Township this week

Two roads in Freedom Township will have daytime road closures this week for gravel resurfacing.

On Monday, August 18, 2025, expect daytime road closures on Waters Rd between Haab Rd and Parker Rd. The road improvements are expected to take approximately two days to complete. On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, expect daytime road closures on Bethel Church Rd between Eisman Rd and Ernst Rd. The road improvements are expected to take approximately three days to complete. During this daytime roadwork, through-traffic will be prohibited, and alternate routes are advised. Local access for properties within the road closures will be maintained, however, delays are possible.

The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) reminds everyone to be especially mindful of construction equipment and personnel, and to reduce speeds accordingly. WCRC thanks you in advance for your patience as we continue our efforts to preserve the county road system.
