Where else you can find fruits and vegetables galore, crafts of all types, wines and cheeses (seasonally), hand-crafted breads, and other delicious baked goods, and sometimes even surprise vendors and items (Musicians? A cow?)? The Manchester Farmers Market, of course! Naturally, some vendors have dropped off with the start of school and the unavailability of that valued extra help. Don’t worry, though, many of them will be back next season … but this season isn’t over yet. Wait—there’s more!

The Market will officially remain open until October 17, allowing for inclement weather days. The hours will be 3–6pm as usual, but be aware that your favorite vendor may leave a bit early—or the market may close entirely—if things aren’t going well weather-wise. Pay attention to Facebook on Thursdays for announcements.

And then there are pre-Thanksgiving and -Christmas events planned for extra excitement toward the end of the year. These will be held at the Jr/Sr High School, 20500 Dutch Dr, at dates and times yet to be determined. Again, watch Facebook for firm dates and more information.

It has been a grand season at the market and there’s more in store. Come enjoy our beautiful downtown shops and their gracious owners on a sunny late-September or early-October afternoon. We are so lucky in Manchester to have all these activities available to us!
