The autumn light, the changing leaves, warm sunny days (don’t waste them). Peppers, tomatoes, and squash. Still mornings, frost on the horizon. Some of us thrive at harvest time, relaxing into the declining light and increasing cold. Some of us, not so much.
Manchester Voices Indivisible invites area residents to a community round table to talk about the changing weather, however you’d like to interpret it on Wednesday, October 15, from 6pm to 8pm at the Manchester Area Historical Society’s KJ House, 302 Main St. The seasonal change, climate change, or the disruption of social networks and services that stabilized American society “back in the day.” Some of us see promise in disruption, some of us see decline. How does the weather around us matter to our community? What matters to you?
We all learn from each other’s stories and perspectives. Come share yours and listen to others’. The format will be a moderated round table, with a designated time for each participant to speak. RSVP at ManchesterTalks@
See you there!
