Dear community,

It’s impossible to comprehend how our country is where it’s at. It’s incomprehensible that so many of us are looking away and moving through life as if this is “normal.” And some are still saying, “Yes, this is what I voted for.” Who are you? And who in this world could have known the depth of depravity our own government officials will stoop to to support this power grab. Not only a power grab but a battering of our people to crush them, for what? Insanity runs amok while we bide our time waiting for someone to save us. We, the people, must step up.

Keep showing up, let our community know “We’re not OK !” “We’re not OK that you’re not OK!” We, with strong, moral convictions, peacefully dissent. This is not OK! Join us, Friday, November 7 (and the first and third Friday of every month, 4–5:30), at the 4-corners in solidarity to resist, to share strength, and to use our rights of free speech. Bring your message, bring your inner fire of angst to keep you warm as we join to represent ourselves and our community as free Americans.

Are you feeling it yet, the betrayal? Those of you who voted for a better future, change your mind, join a protest; it feels empowering to “do something.” Make a difference. I implore all of us to step up. Remember, there are millions of people whose dream is to be in our shoes. Let’s do them proud.

In addition to the Manchester 4-corners protectors gatherings on the first and third Fridays from 4pm to 5:30pm, there are other area protests including: Honk for Democracy, a roving protest—sign up for info and locations every Thursday, 4pm to 5pm, by emailing honkfordemocracy@gmail.com; Dexter, downtown park, 4pm to 5pm, every Friday, street parking; Tesla, Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, every Saturday, 11am to noon, parking back lot by theater; Adrian, Hope in Action, courthouse on M-52, Saturday, 11:30am–1pm, parking nearby; and Adrian, Unite for Democracy, courthouse on M-52, every Sunday, 1pm–3pm; and/or visit Mobilize.us, a website to post and find actions.

Tight hug,
