Manchester District Library (MDL) invites the community to join them in supporting the Manchester Community Resource Center (CRC) with a winter pantry drive. The theme of this winter’s drive is “Soup & Crackers.” Members of the community are encouraged to contribute their favorite shelf-stable items in support. MDL will accept donations on behalf of this program through the end of the year to help stock CRC shelves with needed items.

Donated goods should be unopened, in their original packaging with labels, in good condition, and within six months of the sell-by date, if applicable. Generic/store brands are preferred; no glass containers. Pantry items can be donated at MDL, located at 912 City Rd, during regular business hours.

MDL hopes to make it easier to make CRC donations for this program easier by offering a drop-off location that is open on evenings and weekends.

Manchester District Library (MDL) is proud to serve the Village of Manchester, Manchester Township, Bridgewater Township, and Freedom Township. Village of Clinton and Clinton Township residents are also eligible for MDL library cards and welcome to use all MDL resources. Current MDL hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm, Friday, 10am–6pm, and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.

For as little as $1 a month, you can keep Manchester-focused news coverage alive.
