Jennifer Miller, owner of the Vintage Flea at 128 E Main St, has come up with a new idea to get the community to honor the Men’s Club.

“They do so much to help everyone else in Manchester,” she said. “It’s time we did something to show our appreciation. And what more appropriate than a Christmas tree?”

She plans to put an undecorated tree out front of her business for community members to decorate. Families, even generations, are welcomed to participate by making a decoration and leaving it on the tree as a message of thanks for all the club does to support the Manchester community.

“I thought it would be fun and add some sense of unity this Christmas and throughout the year to come,” Jennifer mused. “I don’t know what will happen … the idea might start slowly and it could take a year or two to really take off. But it will be fun and a new focus this holiday season.”
