On Monday, November 24, Luther C. Klager Elementary School was overflowing with cheer as the children welcomed their grandparents to their annual Grandparents’ Day celebration. This year, there were more than 230 guests in attendance.

Grandparents were treated to a short musical performance when they arrived. Before heading in for breakfast with their grandchildren, they played games, colored, and had pictures taken at the photo booth. Breakfast was served with a smile as the two generations enjoyed breakfast pizza, pancakes, or berry parfaits together. Following breakfast, children took their grandparents back to their classrooms where they read stories, played games, made crafts, or even made scrapbooks together.

The entire event closed with an exciting trip to the Book Fair. The Klager family extends its sincere gratitude to all the volunteers and families who helped make this event such a heartwarming success!
