Students from Manchester Jr/Sr High School were among the student teams selected to showcase cutting-edge and innovative technology demonstrations from their classroom at the state capitol.

The 24th annual AT&T/MACUL Student Technology Showcase took place Tuesday, December 2, in the capitol’s Heritage Hall visitor center. Presented by the Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL), and underwritten by AT&T, the 2025 Student Technology Showcase featured demonstrations from students representing 26 different teams.

“The technology project students from Manchester Jr/Sr High School brought to the capitol for the Student Technology Showcase was more than impressive,” said Tammy Maginity, executive director of MACUL. “The creativity and innovative Michigan students are using in the classroom is providing them with an impressive digital experience to use now and into the future. We couldn’t be more proud of the students showing off their skills to state leaders at the state capitol.”

Students displayed a wide variety of technology projects that blended science, mathematics, social studies, and language arts with the latest digital tools. Their work featured app development, artificial intelligence demonstrations, coding, robotics, 3D printing, and many other technology demonstrations.

State senator Kevin Hertel and state representative David Martin were recognized with “Excellence in Education” awards at the showcase for their commitment to connecting students with innovative technologies, and their dedication to improving the Michigan educational system.
