Manchester Youth Wrestling program wraps up early season

The Manchester Youth Wrestling program wrapped up its early season on Sunday, December 21, just in time for families to enjoy the holidays. The club would like to thank all the families who sacrificed many Sundays traveling to tournaments, as well as two nights each week for practices, to support their wrestlers. During the early season, Manchester Youth Wrestling traveled to schools throughout the Cascades Conference. While many tournaments were close to home, several required longer drives. Practices were held on Mondays and Thursdays for the 7-and-under group, and Tuesdays and Thursdays for wrestlers ages 8 and up. The club would also like to extend a huge thank you to its coaches, who generously donated their time and energy to help the athletes grow.

As a team this season, Manchester Youth Wrestling consistently performed at a high level, finishing no lower than 11th place at Grass Lake and earning a second-place finish at its home tournament. These results showed that success is possible without having a large roster, as dedication and effort made the difference.

November 2, 2025 – Manchester

Manchester Youth Wrestling hosted its home tournament on Sunday, with 36 wrestlers competing and earning a strong 2nd-place overall team finish.

The club will begin its MYWAY season on Monday, January 5, for the 7-and-under group and Tuesday, January 6, for wrestlers ages 8 and up. Families interested in trying wrestling are encouraged to join, as the club offers a free two-week trial for new athletes.
