As the new year begins, many people are setting resolutions focused on one thing: better health. The Manchester Community Health Fair is here to help kick off a fresh and healthy 2026 for residents of all ages.
On Saturday, January 31, the City Room beneath the Manchester District Library will transform into a hub of wellness, learning, and community connection during the Manchester Community Health Fair 2026. The event is free and open to the public, including admission, a natural health class, essential-oil spray make-and-take, raffles, and giveaways.
The morning will begin at 10am with a natural health class led by Nichole Jensen of Hand and Heartwork, offering attendees practical ways to support their well-being naturally. The official health fair will follow, with vendor booths open from 11am to 1pm.
From 11am to 12:30pm, participants are invited to stop in for a personalized essential-oil mini-workshop. Attendees will learn the basics of essential oils and create their own custom essential-oil spray using high-quality oils. These sprays can be used to freshen spaces, promote calm, boost mood, or create a cozy atmosphere at home. No prior experience is needed, and all supplies are provided—participants will leave with both their custom spray and the confidence to recreate it at home.
At 12:30pm, the community is invited to participate in a free raffle, open to everyone attending the fair. Raffle prizes include a 2026 Michigan Places calendar designed by the NAMI board president and a handmade quilt (50 x 54 inches) donated by TOPS, along with T-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, and many other prizes.
The health fair will feature a variety of local organizations and wellness professionals, including representatives from Hand and Heartwork, TOPS, Trinity Health, NAMI Washtenaw Community Outreach, Our Family Friend (including a certified therapy dog named Moose), DoTerra Essential Oils, Smiling Jim’s Organic Seasonings, the Manchester Farmers Market, SRSLY Manchester, the WAVE Bus, a Health Yourself Well health empowerment coach, and a FASTer Way to Fat Loss coach.
The Manchester Community Health Fair is designed to be a welcoming, one-stop opportunity for residents to explore resources, ask questions, learn new skills, and take simple steps toward better health in the year ahead.
Here’s to a healthier Manchester in 2026.
