SYNOPSIS OF MEETING MINUTES

February 10, 2026, Regular Board Meeting

Held in person at the Freedom Town Hall 

Meeting called to order at 8:00pm 

Members present: Lindemann, Bristle, Layher, Huehl, Schaible absent-none   4 public in attendance.

The board heard public comments, communications received, and treasurer, clerk, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer, and zoning administrator’s reports. 

Items approved:

1. Minutes for January 13, 2026
2. November Treasurer’s report
3. To adopt Resolution 2026-01 the policy for inspection of assessing records.
4. To adopt Resolution 2026-02 Freedom Townships’ poverty exemption policy and guidelines and put the application on file with the township and approve the 2026 Federal poverty guidelines in the determination of poverty exemptions.
5. To set the Budget Hearing for Tuesday, March 10, at 7:30pm.
6. Warrants
