William Lawrence Moore, Jr. (September 27, 1945 – March 17, 2026)

William Lawrence Moore, Jr., 80, of Manchester passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, Tuesday, March 17, 2026. 

He was born on September 27, 1945, in Dearborn, Michigan, to William and Rose (Taritas) Moore. Bill married the love of his life, Patricia Lukas, on March 12, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois.   They had 57 wonderful years together. He will be remembered as a good man that was generous and loved his family. Bill graduated from Garden City High School, class of 1963 and attended Schoolcraft College. After high school Bill, was drafted by the United States Armed Forces to serve in Vietnam. Upon his return he became employed by Willow Run Hydro Matic as a pipe fitter, retiring after 30 years. Bill enjoyed fishing (especially with his son) and playing the steel guitar. He did dabble in photography as well. Bill led a simple life that he enjoyed immensely. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; his children, Richard (fiancée Kimberly Dick) Moore and Susan (Scott) Clausen; siblings, Patrick, Laura and Clarrisa; one granddaughter, Grace Clausen; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ray; and sisters, Madaline and Jean.
