Manchester Community Schools March 2026 sports update

The boys’ varsity basketball team finished the season 19–5, losing in the district finals to Onsted.
The girls’ varsity basketball team finished 7–16. They played their best game of the year in the districts against an outstanding Summerfield team, staying within 3 points until late in the 3rd quarter when they fell 58–42.
The varsity wrestling team won districts then lost in the regionals. JC Amrhein won the state championship in his weight class; Sammy Stewart and Blake Sloan were runners-up in their weight classes.
Spring sports started practice on Monday, March 9. We will not have a JV baseball or JV softball team this year as there were not enough players in either sport to have more than just varsity teams.
Dan Budd is the new varsity golf coach.
