WCSO activity in the City of Manchester for February 2026

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) provided the following information to the Manchester City Council at its March 16 meeting regarding police services under the collaboration between the city and Lodi Township.

During the month of February 2026, there were 130 calls for service, a 20% increase over 2025. There were no significant calls for service that posed a threat to the community. There were nine ordinance violations reported (snow/ice), all of which were issued tags. Traffic stops were primarily for rolled stop signs or expired plates. Most were given verbal warnings, but a total of four citations were issued.

There was one animal complaint and four medical assists but no traffic crashes, larcenies, or assaultive crimes reported during the month. Collaboration activities also included providing backup in Dexter, Webster, Manchester, and Scio townships for a total of 542 minutes throughout February.
