Sharon Church holding “Messy Church — Do. Love. Walk.”

Sharon Church will host “Messy Church – Do. Love. Walk” on Wednesday, April 8, from 5:30 to 7pm, at 19980 W Pleasant Lake Rd, Manchester.
Messy Church is a recurring, all-ages gathering that brings the community together for a shared meal, hands-on creative activities, music, and a brief, family-friendly worship time. The April event will focus on the Bible verse Micah 6:8: “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” It will feature interactive elements designed to engage both children and adults. The dinner menu is tacos and all the fixings.
Unlike a traditional church service, Messy Church emphasizes participation, creativity, and fellowship across generations. The goal is to provide a welcoming space where families and individuals of all ages can explore faith together in an informal setting.
The event is free and open to the community. Those planning to attend are asked to register by April 5 to assist with meal preparation. Registration is available at: https://sharongmchurch.breezechms.com/form/MessyChurch13372
In March, Dottie, a 3-year-old participant, said, “I want to stay here all night. I don’t want to leave.” David, another participant, shared, “I have never seen the Easter story shared with those cute Resurrection Easter Eggs. What a wonderful way to share the story with us all.”
