NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – VARIANCE REQUEST
Notice is hereby given that the Freedom Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 in the Township Hall (11508 Pleasant Lake Road Manchester, MI) to invite public comment on a variance request from Austin Martin to allow for a new 900 square-foot pole barn in the rear yard of his one- acre lot at 5970 Esch Road, Manchester, MI (Parcel N-14-30-200-001) in the AR (Agricultural-Resource) zoning district to encroach up to 24.0 feet into the minimum 30.0-foot north side yard setback area otherwise required per Sections 3.101 (Table of Dimensional Standards by District) and 6.01.B. (Accessory Structures) of the Zoning Ordinance No. 43, as amended.
All persons are invited to attend the hearing, and to share comments with the Board of Appeals.
