Public Hearing Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, the Manchester Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 7:00 pm. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comments on a proposed variance in the AR, Rural Agricultural Zoning District, located at 17075 Mahrle Road, 48158 (PID: P -16-21-200-021).

REQUEST: Petition to allow for a side yard setback relief of twenty-five (25) feet, a variance from the bulk regulations set forth in Article 5, Section 5.04(E)(2), of the Manchester Township Zoning Ordinance.

INQUIRIES & WRITTEN COMMENTS: Written comments and/or inquiries may be submitted to the Manchester Township Clerk in person, by phone at (734) 428-7090 ex. 110, or via email (dproctor@twp-manchester.org).

PUBLIC INSPECTION: A copy of the proposed site plan is available for public inspection at the Manchester Township offices during normal business hours.

ACCESSIBILITY: This notice complies with 1976 PA 267, MCL 15.261 through 15.275, the Michigan Open Meetings Act (OMA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Manchester Township will provide auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the hearing, to individuals with disabilities upon reasonable notice to the Manchester Township Clerk.
