Manchester Community School District's 3-12 art teacher, Isabella Push, has once again outdone herself. All year, students of all ages have made art pieces representing their personality and creativity. In order to showcase their hard work, Mrs. Push has put together an art show on May 7. This year, the theme is “ Farm Life”. “I chose this theme because I felt it was very fitting for the community,” she says. And she’s right!

In past years, there have been many different themes. 2 years ago, the theme was the red carpet. Wait staff walked around with drinks on a silver platter and snacks were provided. Last year, the theme was GLOW SHOW. People came in neon clothes, the lower level was covered in black lights, and lots of the art glowed in the dark. “ The goal is to display everyone's hard work in art throughout the school year.” she says. “ I do the art show because I want everyone in the community to see all the amazing things we do in this school.”

Mrs. Push has worked for Manchester since 2022. Lots of students describe her as kind, helpful, and creative. “ Mrs. Push is very nice and has a great personality.” one student says. “ Very artistic. She has such a good personality and is very bubbly.” stated another. It's clear that she's a great teacher and a wonderful person. All these things make up the art show. The dedication and love for this school that Isabella Push has, is what makes the art show so spectacular.

This year we welcome Andrea Worthing. She has been hired at Klager Elementary as the Young 5’s through 2nd grade art teacher. Although she had just recently been hired, she has been creating amazing art with her students, and she can’t wait to show it off to our community.

Join us at the art show this year, on Thursday May 7, 2026 from 6-8pm at the Manchester District Library, 912 City Road. There will be snacks and beverages, a farm animal visit, an art and stem activity, and amazing artwork to view!
