Showers of Easter blessings from St. Mary Catholic Church and Beta Pi Master Sorority

Manchester Family Service has been blessed each year by St. Mary Catholic Church in the form of Easter dinners for ten of our clients. The dinners consist of a huge ham, potatoes, green beans, rolls, pie and much more, enough goodies to make a delicious Easter dinner. Marja Warner has been coordinating these dinners for the past seven years. Thank you to the members of St. Mary’s for providing this for our families.  

In addition, Beta Pi Master Sorority has been providing Easter Baskets and/or Buckets for the children of our clients for the past twelve years. The number of children has ranged from 30 to 45 children over the years.  The baskets/buckets are age appropriate and filled with goodies.  

Manchester is blessed to have such giving hearts.  Thank you.

Manchester Family Service receives our bulk of groceries that we distribute once a month from Food Gatherers out of Ann Arbor.  In addition to Food Gatherers Carrot Credits which help us purchase food, we have received many gifts from community members. We hold a food distribution day once a month on the third Wednesday.  If you are in need of food please reach out to Manchester Family Service at 734-428-7183 prior to the third Wednesday, so we can make arrangements.
