ATTENTION CITY OF MANCHESTER RESIDENTS

NOTICE

PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing has been scheduled for June 1, 2026, during the regular Council Meeting at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Manchester City Hall, 912 City Road, Manchester, Michigan, for the purpose of discussing the adoption of the 2026–2027 Budget.

A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection in the Clerk’s Office at 912 City Road, Manchester, Michigan, and on the City website at City-manchester.org.

THE PROPERTY TAX MILLAGE RATE PROPOSED TO BE LEVIED TO SUPPORT THE PROPOSED BUDGET WILL BE A SUBJECT OF THIS HEARING.

The proposed millage rates are:

General Fund Millage: 9.9416 mills
Streets Fund Millage: 2.1522 mills
Parks Fund Millage: 0.7731 mills
Fire Fund Millage: 1.5500 mills

Total Proposed Millage: 14.4169 mills
(No change from the 2025 tax levy)

Public comments, either oral or written, are welcome at the Public Hearing. Written comments may be placed in the drop box at the City Hall entrance or emailed to bkuhnle@city-manchester.org no later than 4:00 PM on June 1, 2026.

Persons with disabilities needing assistance or accommodations should contact the Manchester City Offices during regular business hours at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting.
