If you are looking for locally made, all-natural treats for your dog this summer, you won’t need to go farther than the Manchester Farmers Market!

This summer, 9-year-old Marcus Holdridge is launching Marcus’s Doggie Delights—all-natural sweet potato chip dog treats. He is doing nearly everything himself from slicing and dehydrating the sweet potatoes to packaging the finished treats.

Marcus is the son of Tecumseh’s Anthro Apothecary owner Michaela Holdridge. Michaela explained that this project grew out of Marcus’s need for treats to train the family dog, Keiser. “Marcus has worked incredibly hard on this project.” she stated.

Keiser, the family’s energetic Weimaraner who turns four this year, is a big fan of the treats—especially the ones Marcus accidentally drops on the floor.

You can meet Marcus and purchase Marcus’s Doggie Delights in Manchester on Adrian Street every Thursday from 3pm to 6pm, and at Wurster Park every Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
