The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) announced a change from a 2-way stop to a 4-way stop at the intersection of Pleasant Lake Rd and Zeeb Rd in Lodi Township. While this is not technically in the Manchester area, this is one of the main paths to get to the eastern half of the county from Manchester, so many Manchester residents pass through this intersection on a regular basis.

WCRC stated, “Based upon the Michigan Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MMUTCD), this intersection met the criteria to become a multi-way stop. The modification will improve the safety of the intersection.”

Previously Pleasant Lake Rd traffic had the right-of-way and didn’t have to stop. WCRC warns that motorists need to take extra caution through the intersection while people get used to the change.
