Do you want a back issue of the Manchester Mirror? This is your last chance to request anything from earlier than 1 year ago. In July we are going to dispose of (reuse or recycle) all of our older back editions. If we ran an article about your business opening, your niece was student of the month, your grandchild was on the fair court, your child made the honor roll, we ran the obituary of a loved one, etc. and you missed getting a hard copy, you have one last opportunity through the end of June!
Send us $2, your mailing address, and the date of the edition you would like a copy of to The Manchester Mirror, PO Box 696, Manchester, MI, 48158. You can also email us this information and we will email you back an invoice you can pay online.
If you don’t know the exact date the article you are looking for ran, there is an easy way to find out. There is a search box in the top right corner of our home page at https://themanchestermirror.com/. Put in some keywords you remember from the article and find the online version of the article. Take note of the date the article was published. In most cases the article will appear in print two days later. (This is not the case for obituaries and public notices which we publish online as they come in.) You can confirm the exact date of publication in print by visiting our “back issues” page at https://themanchestermirror.com/back-issues/. If you have trouble figuring out which date a specific article was published in print, send us an email and we’ll help you.
There are a some editions that we are lacking PDF’s for so if the week you are interested in happens to be one of those, let us know and we’ll try to pin down the week in a different manner. Likewise, there are a few weeks we are missing print editions for. If you request one of those weeks and we are unable to fulfill your request, we’ll return your $2.
We are only disposing of print editions older than a year. We will continue to keep multiple back issues of the print paper for the last year going forward.
