Manchester poster artist to be featured at visual art of music event in Chelsea

Manchester own concert poster artist, Jonathan K. Doyle will be a featured artist at this year’s GIG — The Art of Michigan Music, a visual art experience at Chelsea’s Sounds & Sights Festival, taking place on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25.

GIG is a one-of-a-kind event celebrating the visual storytelling behind Michigan’s music scene, from concert photography and poster design to album art and videography. This free event features a curated art gallery, market, student-poster exhibition, food trucks, panels, workshops, and live music, and will take place at the Social Commons in Chelsea’s Palmer Commons Park with workshops and panels at Ugly Dog Distillery.

In addition to being a featured artist in the gallery and appearing on the graphic artist panel, Doyle was also selected to design the poster for the event this year!
