Wrestlers will have several opportunities this summer to improve their skills, stay active, and learn from experienced coaches through a variety of wrestling camps being offered in Manchester and surrounding areas.
We kick off the summer with our annual free camp instructed by the Varsity Wrestling Team on June 13 from 9am to 12pm. The camp is limited to 50 wrestlers and is open to all interested kids. The camp is a great opportunity for athletes who may be interested in trying wrestling for the first time, as well as experienced wrestlers looking to continue developing their skills during the offseason. To register, visit https://manchester.revtrak.net/, click on “Community Partners,” “Youth Wrestling,” and then Varsity Camp.
Later in the summer, we will host the Tobias Camp on July 25-26. The camp will be divided by age group, with students entering kindergarten through fifth grade in the fall of 2026 attending from 9am to 12pm, and wrestlers entering sixth through twelfth grade attending from 1pm to 4pm each day. The cost for the Tobias Camp is $70 per wrestler. To register, visit https://manchester.revtrak.net/, click on “Community Partners,” “Youth Wrestling,” and then Tobias Camp K-5th or Tobias Camp 6th-12th.
In addition to the local camps, several nearby college wrestling programs are also offering summer training opportunities for area athletes.
Adrian College will once again host multiple youth wrestling camp options this summer for various age groups. The 3-Day Camp for students in grades K-6 will be June 22-24. To register visit https://www.schindelwrestlingcamps.com/.
The University of Michigan is also offering several summer wrestling camp opportunities for youth and high school athletes. Camp options vary depending on the wrestler’s grade level for the upcoming school year. To register, visit https://camps.mgoblue.com/wrestling/.
Summer wrestling camps provide opportunities to improve technique, build confidence, stay in shape during the off-season, and learn valuable lessons in discipline, hard work, and perseverance. We encourage families with children interested in wrestling to consider attending, especially the free varsity camp in June.
Additional registration information for each camp can be found through the respective wrestling programs and organizations.
