Manchester District Library hosts Daddy Daughter Hairdo Day

Manchester District Library is holding a Daddy Daughter Hairdo Day on Tuesday, June 16, from 6pm to 7pm. Presented in partnership with Sereniti Organic Spalon, this hands-on workshop invites fathers and daughters to spend an evening together learning practical hairstyling techniques from professional hairstylist Cara Novesky, owner of Sereniti Organic Spalon in Manchester.
Sereniti Organic Spalon is located at 101 N. Washington Street, Suite A, here in Manchester and provides a calming little oasis where you can slow down while you get a salon service done by a licensed and experienced cosmetologist using high-end products with natural and organic ingredients including haircuts, hair coloring, highlights, manicures, pedicures, and nail services for both adults and children.
Daddy Daughter Hairdo Day participants will learn simple and useful hair styling tips, including ponytails, braids, buns that dads can use at home. The event is designed to be both educational and fun, helping fathers build confidence while spending quality time with their daughters. Families attending need to bring their own hairbrush and comb. If available, participants may also bring a water bottle and hairspray. While styling products will be limited, bobby pins and hair ties will be provided.
The program will take place in the library’s Upstairs Teen Spot and is open to daughters and fathers of ALL AGES. Advance registration is requested. Interested families may register at the circulation desk, call the library at (734) 428-8045, or complete the online registration form via Facebook or MDL’s website (manchesterlibrary.info).
