The final week of school arrived, and the students of Luther C. Klager Elementary School were treated to a variety of daily special events.
Events kicked off Monday morning with The Great Klager Race and Bubble Day. At 9am, children lined up around the front loop in anticipation of an exciting race. The teachers dressed up in inflatable costumes and raced each other around the front loop. Children squealed with delight as the creatures went bopping, running, weaving, and hopping around the loop to get to the finish line.
At the conclusion of the race, the children were treated to pools of bubble fun. Large pools were set up around the playground, by grade level. Each class was provided with a variety of bubble wands. For more than twenty minutes, children just let loose and had fun making and chasing bubbles around the playground and having fun with their friends.
Sincere thanks is extended to all of the families that made donations to the event, and the staff members who worked so hard to make it a success!
