Adults looking for a creative and relaxing way to preserve memories and express their artistic side are invited to attend the Manchester District Library’s Free Summer Junk Journal Workshop on Thursday, June 25, from 6pm to 8pm in the City Room.

This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the art of junk journaling, a creative craft that transforms everyday odds and ends into beautiful, personalized keepsakes. Attendees will learn how to repurpose an old book into a unique scrapbook-style journal using specialty papers, maps, tickets, tags, scrapbook embellishments, and other found treasures.

The class is designed for all skill levels, from experienced crafters to those trying junk journaling for the first time. All materials will be provided by the library. Advance registration is requested. To register, visit the circulation desk, call the library at (734) 428-8045, or complete the online registration form at https://forms.gle/fWnehwYVzNMRzd4aA.

Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the Manchester District Library (MDL). MDL regular hours are Monday–Thursday, 10am–8pm, Friday, 10am–6pm, and Saturday, 10am–2pm. The most up-to-date hours and the latest news are always available on the MDL website.
