Dino Dig & Cookie Excavation at the library

submitted by Laura Wohlgemuth, Manchester District Library event coordinator
Get ready for a dino-sized afternoon of discovery at the Manchester District Library! On Monday, June 29, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm in the City Room, children are invited to take part in Dino Dig + Cookie Excavation. Kids will become junior archaeologists as they learn how real excavation sites are carefully mapped and explored. Participants will practice plotting a dig site on a chocolate chip cookie before putting their new skills to work by excavating a toy dinosaur.
Note: the library’s Monday summer arts and crafts program now meets from 12:30 to 1:30pm. And please note that the Manchester District Library will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Here’s wishing America a very happy 250th birthday!
Stop by the library or visit the event calendar for information about this and other great programs for all ages at the Manchester District Library (MDL).
