The Manchester Summer Reading Kickoff Party on June 18 in Wurster Park was a fun, dinosaur-themed evening with a great community turnout, live music from Gemini, and lots of families enjoying the start of summer reading. Big thanks to the Manchester District Library for hosting, the Friends of the Manchester District Library for sponsoring the band, and all the volunteers who helped make the night run smoothly. It was really just a great, easy summer night all around – thanks to everyone who came out and joined in. Photos by Brenda Bancroft
