SYNOPSIS OF MEETING MINUTES

June 9, 2026, Regular Board Meeting

Held in person at the Freedom Town Hall 

Meeting called to order at 8:00pm 

Members present: Lindemann, Bristle, Layher, Schaible, Huehl, absent-none, 3 public in attendance.

The board heard public comments, communications received, and treasurer, clerk, planning commission, ordinance enforcement officer and zoning administrator’s reports. 

Items approved:

1. Minutes for May 12, 2026
2. November Treasurer’s report
3. To adopt Resolution 2026-10 to approve FOIA procedures and guidelines, a written public summary and detailed itemization.
4. To approve the estimate #101982 from Computer Ties as the new IT company for the township.
5. To accept the contract with the WAVE Bus Service for one year, July 1, 2026-July 1, 2027, and agrees to pay $2,500 in one installment for their services.
6. To have the township attorney review Ord. 55 Blight Ordinance and see if we need to repeal Ord. 9 Dangerous Buildings.
7. Warrants
